Up-to-date Lists

While upkeep of the problem list and medications list may require additional time and effort on the part of one or two particular staff members, availability of this information improves the overall efficiency of the practice.

This efficiency is recognized in greater accuracy and reduced retrieval time. Responsibility for keeping these lists up-to-date should rest on the nurse, physician’s assistant, or medical assistant – both on the initial and subsequent visits.
