Instructions for viewing data on your local drive

1. Download the PaperVision_Data.zip file to your local drive.

2. Unzip the file to the directory of your choice.

3. You will see (5) files listed in the new directory. Double-click on the PaperVision Distribution Assistant.exe icon.

4. A PaperVision screen will appear. Click on ‘Continue’ in the lower right corner of the screen.

5. The next screen is the PaperVision Distribution Assistant screen that will allow you to view the data. Under the ‘Available Projects’ heading, you will see the ‘DEMO PATIENT RECORDS’ file. Double-click on that file.

6. A search screen will appear that shows all of the INDEX values set up for that customer. This will allow you to search for documents based on any of the INDEX values. To see all available records, click the ‘SEARCH’ tab at the lower right corner of the screen.

7. A list of all records will appear. You can double-click on any patient file to open and view the scanned images (or pages) for that patient.

8. The white tabs with black left & right arrows at the top of the screen will allow you to move from one page to another within the patient’s file. This is essentially “turning the pages” within the file.

9. The white tabs with the blue arrows allow you to zoom in on the individual page to see details more closely. You can also click & hold down the left mouse button dragging down and to the right to create a box over a specified area. When you release the mouse button, the area you have “boxed” will zoom in even closer.

10. The yellow tabs with black left & right arrows at the top of the screen will allow you to move from one patient’s file to the next. This is essentially like pulling the patient file on either side of the current patient file within a file cabinet.

11. When finished, you can either click on the tab with the picture of binoculars to search by a different criteria, or click on the picture of a hand holding a paper to see all available files, or exit out of the CD.
